    First Appeared Superwoman: The Series
    Portrayed by

Ultramech is the name of an android created by Superwoman, Dark Knight and Ironwoman. He is also a member of the J.L.A.D.F.

    Origins

    Superwoman: The Series

    Season 1

Ultramech was sent to Gotham City in order to investigate a new toxin created by The Joker. As the android attacked many of the clown's lackeys, he would eventually find himself battling the likes of Clayface. During the battle however, Ultramech didn't fair well during the fight, which resulted in his odds for survival plummeting. Despite this, he did find some information pertaining to the Joker and his new toxin, so he needed to get it to HQ as soon as possible. With little choice, Ultramech transmitted the information to HQ, which ultimately led to the destruction of his Mark 1 body.

    Season 2

Following the destruction of his Mark 1 body, Ultramech's consciousness was also uploaded back to HQ and sometime down the road, his Mark 2 body was created for him. While Superwoman, Hybrid, Ray-El and Psylynce battled Brainiac and his forces at Area 51, Ultramech had activated and left Dark Knight's lair and headed for the League Hall in hopes of killing Reaper Strike, who had renounced his title as a member of The Strikes and began dating Janice Pern. Ultramech then proceeded to Janice's penthouse at the Science Spire, where he waited for Vincent to return. Once he did, Ultramech labeled him a threat and began attacking him with the full intention on terminating him.

Despite Vincent's best effort at defending himself, Ultramech was able to beat him, however before he could kill him, Superwoman intervened and combated the android into retreating. Once he returned to Dark Knight's lair, Ultramech, believing Superwoman turned on him, had unlocked secret protocols created by the first Dark Knight, The Superwoman Protocols. Janice attempted to remotely shutdown the android from their league hall, but the command was blocked as a result. It wouldn't be until Superwoman's return from Tartarus, that Ultramech activated the Superwoman Protocols and used the nullification weapon aboard a satellite to render Janice powerless. This blast also destroyed him in the process as well.

    Personality & Traits

As part of his programming, Ultramech was designed to be extremely loyal to his creators and those who side with the league. Despite his loyalty to his creators and allies however, if Ultramech believes as though his allies have turned on him and the others, he has no hesitation into executing specific protocols to cripple said allies, however he needs evidence of this before engaging such protocols.

    Powers & Abilities

    Abilities

    • Martial Arts:
    • Tactical Analysis:
    • Metahuman Protocols: Ultramech was specifically designed with a subroutine which gives him the ability to exploit the weaknesses of those he is allied with, in his case the J.L.A.D.F and others. These protocols are only accessed by him should he find his allies aiding those he has deemed the enemy. An example of this would be when Janice Pern aided Vincent Monroe who was deemed an enemy as he was a member of the Strikes prior to becoming Valor Shield.

    Weaknesses

    • Metahumans: Despite the durability of his android body, Ultramech can only take so much damage to his body before he falls apart. This means that metahumans that can match or even surpass his strength can do some real damage. Even in his mark 2 form, metahumans can still do damage to him, despite his state of the art mechanics.
